Harris Brown, professionally known as “P. Gordy”, is an American hip hop, R&B, Pop, and Country producer based in the City of Angles but born a Mississippi Native. Harris “P. Gordy” Brown is also a successful entrepreneur with various partnerships in music, media, and the restaurant industry, just to name a few.
“P. Gordy” landed in Los Angeles after serving 10 years in the US Military. Worked for Claude Wesley, Master P, and Brian Turner of Priority/No Limit Records until 2003, achieving 25 Gold and Platinum album sales for the work put in on the Marketing/Radio/Street Team Department. Harris learned elements of a hit record from those experiences and has managed Platinum Producers like “PressPlayy”, “Big Dez”, and “Knotch”, only to transition to Music Producer himself during the Pandemic.
He first started as Marketing/Radio for Priority/No Limit Records, where Saturday nights parties at the Famous “Century Club” in 1997 on the Avenue of the Stars, later becoming a the “well-known” Promoter “P. Gordy”. Harris Hollywood nights at, “Supper Club”, “Playhouse”, “Lure”, “OHM”, “The Attic”, “The Roxberry” and “White Lotus” to name a few. Harris became a sensation by bringing together an eclectic mix of tastemakers, jet setters, and celebrities while being the first to revolutionize bottle service to the LA scene.
Fast forward to 2009, Harris made the leap to owner and operator, teaming up with Vincent “King Show” Coffey, a partner he mentored to the spotlight of becoming the Largest MC/Host in Hollywood, to open The Show, An After Hours Affair, an intimate lounge that has became a haven for the city’s brightest stars and most powerful insiders.
With this history of being a main innovator of the exclusive Hollywood night scene Harris built an ear for what makes the crowd moves and what doesn’t which made him begin producing music and creating an all-in-one Entertainment company B.A.G. Entertainment.
